The Gjelina Group mission is to consistently create a thoughtfully nuanced experience throughout a variety of hospitality offerings. Named for founder Fran Camaj’s mother, Gjelina opened on Abbot Kinney Boulevard in 2008, serving locally-sourced, produce-forward food and becoming a staple in the Venice community. Since then, their businesses have evolved with their neighborhood — with the business menus guided by conversations and long-standing relationships with Southern California farmers, local ranchers, fishermen, and co-ops. The Gjelina Group now own and operate two restaurants, Gjelina and Valle, Gjusta – The Gjelina Group’s deli-bakery-cafe, GTA – their takeaway spot, and Gjusta Goods – their retail store.
